Hi. My name is Suparna Dhar and I created life’s canvas in 2005 as I am absolutely passionate about parenting really wanted to design and develop coaching based workshops where parent/carers can gain skills and knowledge in order to empower themselves in order to bring up engaged children within the framework of Every Child Matters.

Through our unique workshops we aim to give individuals focus, direction and confidence.

Using our in-depth knowledge we constantly adapt our workshops, keeping them up to date and aligning them with government initiatives.

Unlike the standard packages and training modules that are commonly offered, we provide specifically tailored workshops around your service users’ needs, offering total flexibility on the material, length and timing of the course.

Furthermore, we don’t just deliver workshops.

We also provide support so that service users’ maximise their gain, by benefiting from our personal links with a wide variety of support services within your borough such as, your local volunteer centre, job centre and colleges etc.

We also provide a local service for the local community which helps people overcome feelings of isolation e.g. information on local play and stay sessions.

We are totally committed to supporting parents make as many or as little improvements to their parenting skills as they feel confident in and encourage them to question what does and does not work for them as a family.
