Coaching - Working with Key Managers
Supporting you – Supporting your Community - Coaching Programme
This coaching programme has been specifically designed for managers such as you who work with children and families to help you deal with issues such as a
- a busy and varied workload
- managing work-life balance
- overcoming feelings of isolation
Coaching will enable you to focus on your goal, look at the reality of the situation, choose ways to move forward by enabling you to discover your own solutions and then being committed to them.
Your overall goal may include some of the following outcomes:
- Improved outcomes for children and young people in terms of education, care, family support and health services.
Coaching will give you a good opportunity to think about how you can provide the best and most suitable service delivery. - Engaging children and families in the planning of services.
Coaching will provide you with focus in terms of thinking outside the box when trying to engage with hard to reach families. - Improvement in the quality and effectiveness of services.
Coaching can give you clear thinking time in terms of how you can provide strategic planning to meet a range of different needs for your service users.
The benefits of Coaching are:
- At the end of each session you will feel empowered and closer to achieving your overall goal, which will reduce your stress levels.
- You will feel an increased sense of control over any given situation.
- As your confidence grows and you feel more in control, you will notice the direct and improved impact on your team, the families you support and local service providers within the community.
This is what Z. Millett, BBC Broadcast Journalist in August 2007 said about our coaching:
“Suparna helped me get through the pit in my stomach feeling. She always summarised very beautifully what I said throughout our coaching sessions and as a result I felt clearer and more confident about what is important to me on a personal level. Most importantly, I got control over what I am going to do next!”
